BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound 157): a research peptide for labs in Australia and New Zealand
BPC-157 is a stable synthetic (lab-made) research peptide. It is a short chain of 15 amino acids (the small building blocks of proteins), which is why it is called a pentadecapeptide. Its full name is Body Protection Compound 157, and it is also listed under the research code PL 14736. AusBioLabs supplies BPC-157 to laboratories across Australia and New Zealand as a white freeze-dried (dried to powder) vial, held in our Research Peptides for Recovery and Repair range. It is sold for in-vitro (test-tube) study only, never for use in people or animals.
BPC-157 key facts
- The compound: a stable pentadecapeptide, catalogued as BPC-157, Body Protection Compound 157, or PL 14736.
- Purity: over 99% by HPLC (latest batch 99.16%), independently tested by Janoshik, with a CoA per batch.
- Sizes and price: a 10mg or 20mg vial from $79 to $149, bought on its own or paired with a starter kit.
The BPC-157 peptide explained: structure and class
BPC-157’s sequence is based on a short section of a protein first identified in human gastric juice, and the lab-made form is built to stay stable as a dry powder. It is not a steroid and not a hormone. In the AusBioLabs catalogue it is a standard research peptide, supplied purely as laboratory stock.
What the BPC-157 peptide is studied for in research
In research settings, BPC-157 is a familiar peptide in recovery and repair studies. Typical in-vitro work looks at how it behaves in cell and tissue models, for example its effect on angiogenesis-related pathways (the signals behind the forming of new blood vessels), on fibroblast activity (fibroblasts are the cells tied to connective-tissue repair), and in gut epithelial cell models (epithelial cells line the gut). All of this stays at the level of cells and tissue in the lab, and says nothing about effects in a living body.
BPC-157 vs TB-500 and related recovery peptides
On the AusBioLabs recovery shelf, BPC-157 usually sits next to the peptides most studied alongside it. The closest research comparison is TB-500, a synthetic fragment of the protein thymosin beta-4; the two are different molecules but are often examined side by side in cell models, which is where the common BPC-157 vs TB-500 comparison comes from. Some researchers also study them together as a BPC-157 and TB-500 blend. Another repair-focused neighbour is KPV, a short peptide used in gut and immune cell research. Every one of these is handled in-vitro, a routine way to tell the compounds apart.
How we test BPC-157: purity and the CoA you receive
For a research peptide, purity is the figure that matters most, so AusBioLabs has each BPC-157 batch examined by Janoshik, an independent outside lab. The method is HPLC (high-performance liquid chromatography, which separates a sample into its parts to measure how much is truly the compound you ordered), and the reading comes back over 99%, with the latest batch at 99.16%. The same batch is also checked for endotoxin (a bacterial by-product), which reads under 1 EU per vial, and for heavy metals, which are not detected. Its Certificate of Analysis (CoA, the lab’s signed record) is posted on our lab test page, ready to check against the vial in front of you.
BPC-157 is supplied for laboratory research only
BPC-157 is not an approved medicine anywhere. AusBioLabs BPC-157 has not been cleared by the TGA (the Therapeutic Goods Administration, Australia’s medicines regulator) or any similar authority for use on or in the body, and nothing on this page is medical advice. We sell only to qualified researchers, set up to handle it properly in the lab and to work within all relevant Australian and New Zealand laws.
Buy BPC-157 peptide online in Australia and New Zealand
- Buy BPC-157 online from AusBioLabs, an Australian-owned brand with stock held here at home, as a 10mg or 20mg vial priced $79 to $149, or scale up with the 10x bulk pack for heavier workloads. There is no need to search for BPC-157 for sale or a supplier near you; we ship direct.
- Just getting started? Pair your vial with a Starter Kit, and the main mixing supplies arrive in the same box.
- Order before 12pm AEST and it leaves Sydney the same business day by tracked Australia Post Express. Expect about 2 to 4 business days into Australia’s metro (city) areas, 3 to 5 into the regions, 4 to 6 into WA (Western Australia), and 4 to 6 across to New Zealand.
- Spend over $200 and express postage is free; otherwise a flat $14.95 applies.
Storing and reconstituting BPC-157
- Store the sealed vial somewhere cool, dark and dry, under 25°C; for longer storage, a freezer near -20°C is best.
- To reconstitute (turn the dry powder back into liquid), trickle bacteriostatic water (sterile water with a mild preservative that holds bacteria down) slowly down the inner wall of the vial.
- Once mixed, keep it chilled, use it within a few weeks, and keep freeze-thaw cycles (rounds of freezing and thawing) low, since repeating that too often slowly breaks the peptide down.
- You should see a clear, colourless liquid; set aside any vial that turns cloudy or shows particles.

BPC-157: your questions answered
What is BPC-157?
BPC-157 is a lab-made peptide. A peptide is a short chain of amino acids, and amino acids are the small building blocks of proteins. BPC-157 has 15 of these blocks, so it is called a pentadecapeptide. It is also written BPC 157 and is also known as Body Protection Compound 157 or by the code PL 14736. AusBioLabs sells it as a freeze-dried (dried to powder) vial, only for in-vitro research, which means tests in lab dishes and test tubes, not in people or animals.
What is the difference between BPC-157 and TB-500?
Both are studied in recovery and repair research, but they are not the same. BPC-157 is a short peptide with 15 building blocks. TB-500 is a lab-made piece of a bigger protein called thymosin beta-4. Researchers often compare the two in lab cell tests, and some study them together as a blend. This is lab work only, not for people or animals.
How pure is AusBioLabs BPC-157, and do I get a CoA?
Janoshik, an outside lab that tests on its own, checked the latest batch and found it over 99% pure (99.16%) with an HPLC test, which is a standard way to measure how pure a peptide is. The same batch is also checked for endotoxin (a waste product from bacteria), which stays under 1 EU per vial, and for heavy metals, which are not found. The signed Certificate of Analysis (CoA, the lab’s test report) is on our lab test page, and a copy comes with your order.
How is BPC-157 stored and reconstituted?
Keep the sealed vial somewhere cool, dark and dry, under 25°C. For long-term storage, a freezer near -20°C is best. To prepare it, add bacteriostatic water (sterile water with a mild preservative) slowly to the powder. Keep the mixed liquid in the fridge, and try not to freeze and thaw it again and again, as this can slowly damage the peptide.
What size and price does BPC-157 come in?
AusBioLabs sells BPC-157 as a 10mg or 20mg vial, on its own or with a starter kit, for $79 to $149. A 10x bulk pack is also available for bigger projects.
Where can I buy BPC-157 in Australia and New Zealand?
AusBioLabs sells BPC-157 online and ships it straight to you. We keep stock inside Australia and send orders to both Australia and New Zealand, so there is no need to find a local shop or search “near me”.
Is BPC-157 legal to buy in Australia for research?
AusBioLabs sells BPC-157 only as research material, for trained researchers. It is not approved by the TGA (Australia’s medicines regulator) for use in people or animals. You are responsible for following all Australian and New Zealand laws when you handle and use it. This is general information, not legal advice.
Is BPC-157 approved for human or animal use?
No. AusBioLabs sells BPC-157 only as lab research material. It is not a medicine, a supplement or a cosmetic, and it must never be used on or inside any person or animal.
Disclaimer: AusBioLabs releases BPC-157 for one purpose only, in-vitro laboratory research. It is neither a medicine nor a supplement, and it is not a cosmetic or skincare item; it must not go on or into any person or animal. Completing a purchase confirms you are a qualified researcher who will keep its handling, storage and use fully within the Australian and New Zealand laws that cover it.

Shipping was about a week this time, usually faster. Product sealed fine. Been using for knee pain for about 3 weeks. Some improvement but slower than I expected based on reviews. Product seems legit though, giving it more time
Marcus K. –
Order took like 8 days to arrive which was slower than I expected. Product was sealed fine when it got here though. Been using for shoulder pain for about 3 weeks. Some improvement but nothing crazy yet. Customer service replied to my question about dosing but took 2 days to respond. Product seems legit, just wish shipping was faster and communication quicker

Ordered on a Tuesday, arrived the following Tuesday – so about a week. Packaging was decent, product sealed. Using for elbow tendonitis. Been 4 weeks. Pain is maybe 35% better. Can lift without sharp pain but still sore. Customer service was helpful when I emailed about reconstitution but response took a day and a half. Product seems quality.

I’m a new customer and had some questions so I sent an email. A few hours later I actually received a phone call as a follow up to the email and answered all of my questions. That’s a rarity in customer service anymore.
Also, so far no issues with my Wolverine stack and will be starting my retatrutided in a few weeks when I finish my prescription.
